Blue and White Transferware Portrait Tile of a Dog

A portrait of a sweet dog is rendered in blue and white. The central image is surrounded by a round border and Eastlake design of flowers and leafy branches in the four corners. The tile measures 8" square and about 3/8" thick. Manufactured by Brown Westhead Moore and Co, Cauldon Place Stoke on Trent and marked on the back. Very good condition with some crazing. A pretty special tile from Victorian England.
