Colorful Art Pottery Vase Tangled Christmas Lights

This vintage vase is covered in a thick white glaze and decorated with swirling black lines and oval splashes of primary colors. Reminiscent of tangled old time Christmas tree bulbs. These bright colors were popular in the Memphis Post Modernism movement in the 1980s and sold in stores like Conran's, the Crate and Barrel of the time. The baluster form sits on a raised foot. Measures 8" tall and about 5" wide. Unsigned, it probably originated in Italy or Spain. In excellent condition.
