Dansk Blue and White Charger by Niels Refsgaard

This blue and white serving dish, or shallow bowl, measures 12" in diameter and sits on a  1/4" raised foot. The flattened rim is bordered in blue and the shallow bowl is decorated in a blue and white Moorish pattern. The base is marked "DANSK INTERNATIONAL DESIGNS LTD/NR/JAPAN". Designed by designed by Niels Refsgaard (b 1934). The base has incised holes to facilitate hanging on the wall. It remains in very good condition with a few shallow scratches on the interior.
