Old Mercer Tile The Puritan Moravian Pottery and Tile Works

A vintage tile by Henry Chapman Mercer's Moravian Pottery and Tile Works in Doylestown PA measures 2 1/2" x 2 3/4" with a raised design of a Puritan glazed green in the recesses. Shown in a 1912 catalog as "120 Puritan Half Length". Overall excellent condition, crisp mold. Someone had applied a hanger on the back to make display easier. Unsigned as are most early Moravian tiles.
