Rookwood Art Pottery Tile Love Birds

This Rookwood Faience tile has a great and uncommon Arts and Crafts design. The image is of two love birds or canaries perching between ferny foliage and flowers is covered in waxy matte glazes. The only example I've seen this is a rare offering from the early Arts and Crafts movement. The tile measures 6" square and 3/4" thick. Impressed signature on the back and it remains in excellent condition.
