German Art Deco Tile Plaque Mother and Child

A charming art deco era ceramic plaque of a mother and child. Molded in high relief and covered in translucent glazes, it has incised holes on the top edge to insert a wire or ribbon for hanging. Made from a white faience clay and artist cipher on the back, possibly early work of Fritz Van Daalen. It has two small flakes, one on the child's hair, the other on the bottom right rim.
