Made at the Flint Faience Tile Company (1921-1933) in Flint MI and decorated by hand in a squeezebag technique. The tile has an impressive sun design with intricate rays surrounding the penumbra of an eclipse. The tile measures 6" square and 3/4" thick. It is marked with an impressed mark for the company and a personalized inscription. The surface is in excellent condition. A small nick on an edge is its only flaw.
