Villeroy and Boch
Jugendstil Sea Nymph by Villeroy and Boch
This original German Jugenstil tile was made by Villeroy and Boch between 1900-1910. It measures 6" square and depicts a crowned sea nymph, her tail curling behind her as she presents a tray of sea shells and urchins. It is rendered in super high relief and covered in a beautiful green glaze. The back is unmarked and retains traces of mortar. It surface remains in excellent condition, bright, shiny, and unmarred. A rare example.
