A rare and collectible hand decorated tile by Audrey Durnan from the Chelsea Pottery dated 1969. The flower is glazed in blues and greens on a 6" tile which is mounted onto red raw silk and housed in a black painted 9 1/2" frame. The tile is signed on the lower right and bears a paper label on the back Chelsea Pottery Hereford Tiles Ltd 20 78 and hand dated 1969. There is an attached hanger.
