Stig Lindberg Gustavsberg Sweden Flytande Blått Bla Husar 9.5" Dinner Plate Flintgods

This vintage dinner plate was designed as part of the Flytande Blått (Floating Blue) series by Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) for Gustavsberg Sweden. It measures 9 1/2" diameter, the rim rising to 7/8". The deep blue design is hand painted under the glaze and gives a flow blue effect. Only in production between 1968-1973 these are pretty rare. The back is marked " Bla Husar Gustavsberg Flintgods Sweden Stig L. Flytande Blatt". The condition is very good with only a couple of small scratches to the face and a couple of rubs on the back from a plate hanger. This was displayed and not put into use.
