Mid Century Mod Wall Tile with Orange Flowers by Ruscha

This tall ceramic tile plaque was made in West Germany by Ruscha in the 1960-70's. Brightly colored red and orange flowers line the surface. They're accented by  a background of blue-green leaves and edged with a sparkly, metallic bronze glaze.  The back has an embedded hanger and is signed. The sides are black. It measures 14 3/4" tall, 9" wide, and 1/2" thick. Excellent original condition.

Plaques like these can be used in an installation or hung as a piece of art in places where a traditional painting can't go, such as a garden wall, kitchen or bath.
